Digital Duplication - Epson America

Epson America Inc. recently launched the EPSON Stylus CX3200, an all-in-one digital duplication product that includes an all-purpose printer, scanner and color copier. It also offers USB connectivity for both Windows and Mac platforms. The unit incorporates the latest print engine technology from Epson, making it one of the most modern and versatile solutions available for a variety of desktop applications. Starting at $149, the CX3200 uses a unique and highly advanced imaging technology known as Resolution Performance Management, which allows it to have resolution levels as high as 5,760 x 720 optimized dpi for sharper text, greater detail and brighter colors. It can produce up to 14 ppm of black output and up to 10 ppm in color. This is also the first product of its kind to produce both border-free prints and copies without the need for a PC. The CX3200 uses Epson's quick-drying dye inks, which give users richly colored images that may be handled immediately without smudging. It also features a stand-alone color copier and a full-function scanner. The built-in 600 x 1,200 dpi, 48-bit color scanner and EPSON SmartPanel software enable users to quickly digitize photos, text or graphics with extreme detail and color to the Internet, e-mail or fax. Furthermore, users can produce high-resolution color copies or produce black-text copies as fast as 10 ppm without turning on the computer. Epson America Inc., (800) 463-7766, www.epson.com.
