The latest full-color digital imaging system from Kyocera Mita is the FS-8000C, a user-friendly unit designed for high volume and low cost per print. It prints 8 ppm in full color and 30 ppm in black and white at a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. With 64 MB of standard memory, expandable to 256 MB, the unit has a capacity for large print jobs. An optional 3.2 GB hard drive can also be added to the system. The FS-8000C can use 16 to 24 lb. paper in a variety of sizes, from postcards to ledgers. The unit's long-lasting Amorphous Silicon Drum, as well as its high- toner and developer, yields results in a low cost per page for color and monochrome prints.
