Lexia Early Reading v2.0

Lexia Early Reading v2.0 by Lexia Learning Systems Inc. (800-435-3942; www.lexialearning.com) is designed for pre-readers ages 4 to 6. The reading program helps young students develop phonemic awareness by connecting a picture with its corresponding sound. Students then can learn to connect sounds with the appropriate letter. The inclusion of phonological principles results in a better acquisition of reading skills compared to methods that don't contain the same principles. In addition, Lexia Early Reading offers tracking and reporting so that teachers can stay better informed as to their students' progress.
