News Briefs - Vernier Software & Technology/National Science Teachers Association

Science educators who can demonstrate innovative uses of data-collection technology with a computer, graphing calculator or other handheld device are eligible to apply for the Vernier Software & Technology/National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) Technology Awards. The awards will be given to one elementary teacher, two middle school teachers, three high school teachers and one college-level educator. Each winner will receive $1,000 cash, $1,000 in Vernier equipment, and $1,000 toward travel and expenses to attend NSTA’s National Convention next year. Entries are due by Oct. 15, 2004.
