The elementary school washonored for its innovative use ofclassroom technology with a$45,000 one-to-one computingaward. This includes a 20-userHP Tablet PC mobile classroomwith digital projector andwireless access, Riverdeep’sDestination Success NetworkVersion software, and three daysof on-site professional development.Educators applied for theawards by documenting their useof technology in the classroom.Ultimately, the awards programseeks to improve students’engagement with reading, andform positive attitudes towardtechnology to promote lifelonglearning.
