Administrators at Iredell-Statesville Schools in North Carolina have adopted Follett Software's TetraData DASH, an analytics and communications tool.
The system allows for quick sharing of information regarding school performance to principals and staff members district-wide and augments the district's TetraData Warehouse, which was implemented in 2007.
That system combines student demographic information, state test scores, district quarterly assessments, staff demographics, and certification levels.
Using DASH, district staff can access custom-designed reports interrelating any or all of that data. Teachers use the data to determine how to adjust their teaching strategies in order to help students be successful. The data is also used to monitor the progress of students in No Child Left Behind subgroups.
