Adobe debuted Creative Suite 4 Tuesday, with all-new versions of its major development, design, publishing, and video/motion graphics applications, along with new and modified pricing and licensing schemes for both K-12 and post-secondary education. NASA Launches 'eClips' for Online Science Education

NASA has launched a new online digital media service to foster science education in the 2008-2009 school year. Dubbed "eClips," the new service offers short, on demand video clips focused on space science and engineering, along with environmental sciences. eClips is a partnership between NASA and YouTube, Internet Archive, CaptionMax, and the National Institute of Aerospace.

Turnitin Integrates Plagiarism Tool into New Online Writing Service

iParadigms, creator of the Turnitin plagiarism detection service, has released a set of tools designed to help students improve their writing skills through enhanced teacher-student communication and peer collaboration. The Web-based WriteCycle suite of services combines the company's Turnitin service with its new GradeMark Digital Grading service and a peer review collaboration and feedback tool.

Alaska District Adopts Online Language Arts Program

Anchorage School District in Alaska has brought the MY Access! language arts program from Vantage Learning into its curriculum for the 2008-2009 school year. The district has deployed the online solution for use with about 6,500 students and supplied training for teachers who are using the system.
