EnGenius Offers Free Wireless Network Equipment for Qualifying Educational Institutions

EnGenius Technologies, a provider of long-range wireless voice and data solutions, has launched a free product trial promotion for qualifying private and public K-12 schools, colleges, and universities in the United States. The program runs until July 31, 2013.

The company designed the program to introduce schools to the "value, performance, and versatility" of its networking solutions. In exchange for free wireless indoor or outdoor networking products, EnGenius asks participating educational institutions to provide test feedback to the company, including how the product is being used, demographic information, any product issues, and whether or not the product met the institution's expectations.

"Shrinking budgets continue to put more stress on the schools to provide a quality traditional education while, at the same time, trying to provide students with the state-of-the-art tools that they need to maximize their learning experiences," said Vicki Bilyeu, channel marketing manager for EnGenius, in a prepared statement. "This program is designed to introduce schools to a product family that delivers performance and range at an affordable price."

EnGenius products available through the free product trial promotion include single- or dual-band wireless indoor networking equipment and single- or dual-band wireless outdoor networking equipment.

When applying for the program, schools can specify whether they would like single- or dual-band equipment. Limited quantities are available. EnGenius ships the products to the school for free, but the school is responsible for installing and managing the equipment themselves.

Interested educational institutions can apply for the free trial program online. Further information about EnGenius wireless indoor and outdoor networking products can be found at engeniustech.com.
