THE Journal Back In Print

(VIENNA, VA., January 15, 2015)— 1105 Media is pleased to announce that THE Journal, the premier resource for senior-level K-12 education technology professionals, is back in print with the January/February 2015 issue.

For more than 40 years, THE Journal has provided K-12 education leaders the tools and knowledge about what’s now, what’s new and what’s next in the world of IT so that they may successfully apply technology to improve their classroom, school or district.

THE Journal is a trusted brand within the education community,” said Henry Allain, Chief Operating Officer at 1105 Media. “We couldn’t ignore any longer the pleas from the advertiser community along with our readers to bring the publication back into print. So that’s what we are going to do, and we couldn’t be more excited about our decision.”

THE Journal will produce seven issues in 2015, with print and digital circulation totaling 100,000 —almost doubling the publication’s reach among senior-level K-12 educators and decision makers. The January/February re-launch issue will also be distributed inside attendee bags at the annual FETC conference, which takes place in Orlando, FL, from January 20-23.

THE Journal will continue to cover topics that address the IT and instructional challenges that today’s educators face, whether it’s teaching to new standards, preparing for online assessments, or managing 1-to-1 initiatives,” said Christopher Piehler, Editor-in-Chief of THE Journal. “The editorial staff looks forward to reaching even more readers as part of our mission to help educators use technology to improve teaching and learning.”
