Canvas Teams with GoSignMeUp To Streamline PD

GoSignMeUp, a provider of training registration and tracking tools, has teamed with Instructure to integrate its software with the cloud-based Canvas learning management system (LMS) in an effort to help schools and other organizations better management professional development and continuing education.

As a result of the integration, users will be able to sign up for professional development and can instant access to course content through Canvas. GoSignMeUp will also provide email reminders and confirmations, credit-tracking and transcripts, class lists, enrollment reports, financial tracking and class and student history.

"The education community has been asking for a streamlined approach to delivering effective professional development and we're excited that our new relationship with GoSignMeUp will help solve this," said Melissa Loble, vice president of partners and programs at Instructure, in a prepared statement. "Administrators will have robust tools to manage the entire professional development process in Canvas, as well as powerful analytics for federal, state and local reporting."

"We understand that professional development is critical in refining and developing new teaching skills," said Ed MacNevin, CEO at GoSignMeUp, in a news release. "GoSignMeUp is ideally suited for this since we provide an easy course registration process for teachers, but also powerful reporting tools to help improve learning pathways."
