Virtual Sessions Bring Nobel Prize Winner, STEAM Experts and More to Classrooms

Students can connect and collaborate with industry professionals for free through Nepris.

Nepris brings STEAM-related topics to classrooms by connecting students and teachers to experts, researchers or other industry leaders through its virtual interactive sessions. The cloud-based social platform has more than 50 live, interactive sessions that teachers can broadcast in their classrooms.

Three of the most popular sessions are:

  • “Nobel Prize in Chemistry,” a talk with the 1995 Nobel Prize winner in chemistry, Mario Molina, who won for research on how chlorofluorocarbons deplete the ozone layer;

  • “Detective 101,” a discussion with US Marine and Los Angeles County Sheriff Marc Jackson, on the investigative process; and

  • “Fashion Design,” a chat with Sana Sulaimani of Zara USA on the fashion designing process, from making a garment to creating a collection to dressing models for the runway.

All of the sessions are free to any user. Teachers with free accounts will also have unlimited access to close to 1,000 sessions covering various STEAM topics.
