Performance Matters Unveils New PD, Student Assessment Platform

Performance Matters has launched the Performance Matters Platform, a new tool designed to bring together teacher professional development and student assessment.

"The new Performance Matters Platform merges the Truenorthlogic professional growth platform with the Performance Matters assessment and analytics platform," according to a news release. "It is the first offering from the newly combined company since the completion of the merger between Performance Matters and Truenorthlogic."

"Performance Matters has been a strategic partner for Prince George's County for many years," said Kevin Maxwell, CEO of Prince George's County Public Schools, in a prepared statement. "Our teachers and administrators rely on it for the administration of our local assessments and for analyzing student data to drive instruction. The Performance Matters merger with Truenorthlogic led us to replace our previous educator evaluation system with Truenorthlogic. Our educators now have one integrated platform for improving instruction and student learning."

"With the Performance Matters Platform, we aim to change the way K-12 educators think about the relationship between professional learning and student learning," said Woody Dillaha, president and co-founder of Performance Matters, in a news release. "We're making connections — and creating insights — that haven't existed before. These connections will deliver real-time, actionable analytics that educators will use to drive continuous improvement in student learning and instruction."
