Robotics Toymaker Intros Coding Project Toolkits
Robo Wunderkind, a robotic toys startup, has announced updated programmable robotics kits that can be purchased through Kickstarter.
The Robo Coding Saga gives children ages five and up the ability to master "fundamental aspects of computer science" including parallel processing, command sequencing conditional logic, inputs and outputs. Each kit is compatible with LEGO blocks.
Each kit includes a smart motor, LED matrix, RGB light, distance sensor, programmable button, light and motion sensors and electrical connectors. There are in-app challenges and stories that can be found through the Robo Wunderkind online community. Users can also share their own creations online.
The Robo Coding Saga kit is available for $149 and the Robo Coding Saga Unlimited kit costs $299. Both kits can be purchased on Kickstarter and will ship in May 2020.
