Gale to Add On-Demand PD Support for Gale in Context

Gale, a company that produces research and learning resources for schools and libraries, has begun showing customers a new professional learning hub for teachers. The Learning Center, as it's called, will help educators learn how to work with Gale In Context: For Educators for identifying and organizing curriculum, using it for in-person and remote instruction and collaborating with other members of the school staff in developing lessons. The hub is expected to be launched in early 2021.

A similar self-help hub is already available in another product, the Gale Digital Scholar Lab. In the For Educators version, teachers will be able to find videos, tips and tricks and step-by-step tutorials, as well as sample content sets.

While this is intended as just-in-time professional development for use with a specific Gale product, the company also produces more traditional online PD materials.
