TutorMe Announces Deal to Provide Tutoring Services to 11K Students of St. Louis District

Online tutoring provider TutorMe today said it will provide on-demand, 24/7 tutoring for the 11,000-plus students of Ferguson-Florissant School District in St. Louis for the remainder of this school year at no cost to students.

TutorMe users have access to 15,000 tutors in hundreds of subjects, through its online lesson space that includes a virtual whiteboard, text editor, audio/video chat, and screen sharing where students connect live with a tutor. All lessons are archived for future reference.

Students in districts that have partnered with TutorMe also may use its Writing Lab, where they can submit their essays and other writing assignments to get feedback from a writing tutor within hours.

“Our partnership with TutorMe will allow our students of all ages to have on-call help when needed, and give each student the opportunity to thrive in any subject matter with no cost to their family,” said Kevin Voepel, secondary math and professional development coordinator for Ferguson-Florissant School District. “The pandemic has made it difficult for students to seek out extra help. This new tool will hopefully bridge that gap and I look forward to seeing the positive improvement across each classroom.”
