ASUS Unveils Windows Education Laptop for K–12 Students

At CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2023, computer technology company ASUS showcased its new BR1102 laptop geared for the needs and demands of K–12 students. The new laptop features military-grade durability: a compact, modular 11.6-inch design that fits into any backpack and can withstand drops, bumps and everyday wear and tear.

The laptop has a TÜV-certified dynamic display with anti-glare, wide-view, and blue-right reduction to protect eyesight. It also has a spill-resistant keyboard and a wraparound rubber bumper with easy grip. It runs on the 12th generation Intel core processor and Windows 11 Education and comes with a 256 GB hard drive, upgradable to 1 TB. It features up to 10 hours of battery life, high speed connectivity, a noise reducing camera, webcam shield, and 13MP world-facing camera. The laptop is available in both traditional clamshell and 360° convertible forms. It also has a low-maintenance, sustainable design, minimizing troubleshooting and administration for IT teams, the company said. But should it need servicing, it is easy to upgrade and maintain.

The BR1102 is not yet available for purchase, but those interested can receive availability notifications by texting ASUSBR1102 to 278762.

More details about the new laptop can be found on the ASUS product page.
