Epson Unveils DC-30 Wireless Document Camera with 4K

Epson has introduced its newest education camera, the DC-30 Wireless Document Camera with 4K video resolution, a 13-megapixel camera, 10x optical zoom, and 23x digital zoom, the company said in a news release. 

The improved resolution “makes it easy to display books, experiments, 3D objects, and more with striking detail and clarity,” Epson said. 

The DC-30 is capable of wireless screen-sharing and works with current Epson BrightLink interactive projector setups and Easy Interactive Tools software, the company said. 

Other features include:

  • A built-in microphone with one-touch A/V control, allowing teachers to record lessons directly to a USB drive

  • 60 frames per second via HDMI connection

  • HDMI in and out, mini-USB and USB-A connectivity

  • Display area is 13.6 inches by 18.9 inches, larger than an A3-sized sheet

  • Adapter included for use with microscopes

  • Integrated Kensington lock slot for security

The DC-30 Wireless Document Camera is available now through Epson channel partners with an MSRP of $659, the company said; under the Brighter Futures program for schools, the MSRP is $559. Find the full spec sheet at the Epson website.
