Propello Releases Supplemental Inquiry-Based Science Booster Packs

K–12 ed tech company Propello has launched inquiry-based science booster packs to complement existing curricula and stimulate student engagement. The supplemental phenomena packs are classroom-ready, NGSS standards-aligned, and can also be customized, the company said.

Life Sciences, Earth and Space Science, and Physical Science head up the roster, with each booster pack offering click-and-go lessons. Features include:

  • Varied topics;
  • Phenomena-based videos;
  • Hands-on labs and other activities;
  • Project-based assessments that are formative and accumulative; and
  • Diverse learning supports, such as translations to 100+ languages, assisted reading capabilities, and more.

For more information on the science booster packs, visit Propello's supplemental curriculum page.

In August 2023, Propello partnered with PowerSchool to offer its customizable content to PowerSchool's ContentNav ecosystem, part of the Personalized Learning Cloud content and learning objective repository.

"Sometimes all a student needs to spark their curiosity is a little boost," said Amanda Bratten, Propello's vice president of content and curriculum. "... [U]ntil now switching to inquiry-based instruction has too often required teachers to tear down and start over…. Booster Packs empower teachers and districts to fold in engaging and high-quality instructional materials at a pace that works for them."
