ParentSquare Launches Newsletter-Building Tool at No Extra Charge

K-12 communication platform ParentSquare has launched a new solution that helps educators build newsletters with no HTML skills required.

Studio Editor, available by the end of May, is accessible to all registered ParentSquare users free of charge.

The workspace in Studio Editor is a simple drag-and-drop interface, with pre-configured templates to make building a newsletter relatively easy for users with little to no design or coding expertise.

The templates can also be customized according to a school's particular brand, as well as shared to other schools within the same district. This enables multiple users to create their own messages while keeping branding consistent.

Other notable features include:

  • Responsive design, meaning users can build newsletters that are desktop or mobile browser-frendly.
  • Support for over 100 languages.
  • Newsletter analytics, including delivery and engagement rates.
  • The ability to sort analytics data by school or district.

"When ParentSquare users told us they wanted an efficient newsletter tool that could be used by any faculty or staff member, regardless of their design experience, we leapt at the chance to reimagine what mass notifications could look like," said ParentSquare President Anupama Vaid. "With Studio Editor, educators now have a user-friendly solution to build eye-catching newsletters that keep families involved and in the know."
