Virginia Approves Savvas Math Programs for Statewide Adoption

The Virginia Board of Education has approved Savvas Learning Company's line of enVision K-12 math programs for statewide adoption across all grade levels.

The enVisionmath programs for Virginia "provide evidence-based, standards-aligned content, combined with personalized adaptive learning and practice, to support all students in developing deep conceptual math understanding, procedural skills, and fluency, with relevant application opportunities to become college- and career-ready," the company explained in a news announcement. The series meets the ESSA Level 2 Evidence Standard, meaning it has demonstrated a positive effect on student performance, and aligns to the Virginia's 2023 Mathematics Standards of Learning.

The Savvas instructional materials for Virginia include:

Features include expanded digital resources, project-based learning activities, multimedia lessons, interactive modeling tools, and more. The programs have built-in professional development and instructional support materials for teachers, as well as family engagement resources to support student learning at home.
