Kira Introduces AI-Generated Lesson Tool

Artificial intelligence company Kira has announced a new AI-powered lesson generation tool that it says delivers complete, standards-aligned lessons that are personalized to each student. The lessons are "built and tailored using a detailed knowledge map that reflects each student's mastery of specific concepts and skills," the company said, enabling content to be adapted to individual learning differences and levels of understanding.

"At Kira, our goal has always been to empower educators," said Andrea Pasinetti, CEO and Co-Founder of Kira, in a statement. "Our new AI-generated lessons enable educators to deliver highly effective, personalized instruction that enhances educational outcomes and deepens student understanding and engagement."

The company has also introduced a free tier, giving educators unlimited access to more than 30 AI tools such as lesson generation, personalized feedback, tutoring assistants, and analytics.

"Our free tier demonstrates our commitment to supporting educators as the educational landscape evolves," Pasinetti said. "Every teacher deserves the best tools to enhance their classroom experience, and every student deserves engaging, personalized learning opportunities."

Kira, one of the latest ed tech ventures from Andrew Ng, former director of Stanford's AI Lab and co-founder of Coursera and DeepLearning.AI, launched its flagship K-12 learning platform in April. For more information, visit the Kira site.
