The slide decks, editable for further customization, feature:
- Embedded videos and activities;
- Discussion prompts and facilitation guidance;
- Comprehensive speaker notes;
- Recommended differentiation techniques; and
- Alignment with anchoring phenomena routines and supplemental hands-on labs.
The worksheets feature:
- Reinforcement of key concepts through independent student practice;
- Compatibility with any classroom setting, regardless of device access;
- Alignment with anchoring phenomena routines, lessons, and performance tasks; and
- Learning-centered activities that engage students with tangible materials.
"While our digital platform offers incredible benefits, we understand that teachers need the flexibility to integrate technology in ways that work best for their unique classroom situations and teaching styles," said Tessa Dagley, head of content and curriculum at Kognity, in a statement. "We've heard you, and we're thrilled to respond with materials that truly enhance the teaching experience."
The new materials are free for Kognity users. For more information, visit the Kognity site here.
