Anthology today announced it will release a new tool for Blackboard Learn Ultra that allows users to build "authentic assessments" with the help of AI.
Instructure has partnered with K16 Solutions to add a new archiving tool to its popular learning management system, Canvas. The solution, called Canvas Archiving Powered by K16 Solutions, is available now.
Online academic tutoring company Skooli has announced its collaboration with cloud-based learning provider PowerSchool to offer personalized tutoring for K–12 students at schools that use Schoology Learning. Tutors are licensed teachers who have passed a Level 2 criminal background check as outlined by the International Task Force for Child Protection, Skooli said.

Blackboard Learn Ultra is gaining new AI capabilities, as well as a host of other new features. The AI features will be rolled into production in September, with testing for Blackboard Learn Ultra clients in August.
Instructional design company Nolej announced that Nolej AI is now available on Google Classroom. The OpenAI-based commercial authoring tool allows educators to create instructional microlearning content in near real time, the French company said.

Ed tech provider D2L has released an addon to its Brightspace learning platform. D2L Brightspace Creator+ provides tools for educators to design and create digital course content without the need to know coding and without putting a strain on teachers' time, according to D2L.
ClassIn, whose virtual and hybrid learning platform is used by over 60,000 K–12 and higher education institutions in 160 countries, is entering the U.S. education market this fall, hoping to attract educators’ attention with its integrated content management and learning management systems.
