Vocabulary Tutorials Include 1,000 Commonly Used Words

VIS-ED has released a new line of vocabulary tutorials for Windows, covering English, French, German and Spanish languages as well as medicine and the S.A.T. Based on the firm's popular flash card audio sets, the programs utilize audio, animation, text and hyperlinks to enhance vocabulary, increase reading comprehension and improve reading and writing effectiveness. The 1,000 words in each product were compiled from frequency lists by vocabulary specialists. A unique feature found on the Spanish set is a bi-directional capability, allowing Spanish speaking students to learn English (and vice versa).
