Projection Firm Sponsors Contest

Entries are now being accepted for a contest sponsored by Proxima that will reward three educators who submit the best ideas for combining desktop projection with other state-of-the-art technologies to enhance classroom instruction.

Prizes are valued at more than $25,000 and range from a Proxima Ovation LCD panel to a complete mobile multimedia center featuring a Proxima Desktop Projector and laptop computer with CD-ROM drive.

Co-sponsored by T.H.E. Journal, the "Win With Proxima" contest is open to all classroom instructors, media center directors, principals and administrators.

All schools that submit entries become members of the Proxima "Partners in Education" club, which entitles them to an onsite presentation of the firm's products and an Educators Toolkit to assist teachers in improving their presentation skills.

Entries must be returned by May 15, 1996. Winners will be announced at the National Education Computing Conference (NECC) in Minneapolis on June 11. Proxima Corp., San Diego, CA.
