New Projection Products Up Resolution Ante

Chisholm's Aurora Model S350 is a true 800x600 SVGA projector housed in a stylish and compact case. The Aurora switches easily among four simultaneous sources: SVGA/VGA, Mac, composite video and S-VHS including NTSC, PAL and SECAM formats. Internal 6-watt per channel stereo speakers handle sound, but there's also a stereo output for externally-amplified speakers. The S350 also offers Chisholm's unique tablet/pen annotation on the projected image, letting educators write notes, highlight or hide images, switch to an electronic chalkboard, or even use the pen as a mouse to control computer applications. The Galaxy Model X500, another new product, is Chisholm's first 1024x768 XGA-compatible projector. Its 500 lumens of brightness and 16.7 million colors offer high image quality, and its modest size and weight suit it to table-top or ceiling mounting. As with other Galaxy products, the X500 offers power zoom, focus and rear projection capabilities with a built-in speaker. Chisholm, Campbell, CA, (800) 888-4210.
