A true client/server business application, PeopleSoft 5 includes eight integrated applications for accounting, distribution and human resource management: Budgets, Billing, Project Costing, Order Management, DRP, Inventory, Pension Administration and Time and Labor. Delrina, IBM, Lotus and others, have signed on as Open Workflow Partners, offering third-party solu-tions to streamline business tasks and reduce paperwork. Lotus Notes customers, for example, will be able to interact seamlessly with PeopleSoft applications. PeopleSoft 5 enhancements are improved volume processing, an enriched GUI, compatibility with Windows 95 and NT, new process-oriented menus and PeopleBooks documentation.
