Teach Students to Avoid Drinking & Driving

Drinking and Driving, another title in the award-winning Decisions, Decisions series, combines role-playing, critical thinking and cooperative learning to show students in grades 6-12 how practicing good judgment can keep them safe and motivate them to not drink and drive.

The package presents three separate but interrelated simulations that put students in the middle of dealing with drinking and driving. The first scenario involves students riding in a car driven by a friend who has been drinking. In the second, kids show up to a party with alcohol and students have to decide how to prevent them from drinking and driving. The third scenario involves coping with having a friend killed in an alcohol-related car crash.

Included is a Teacher's Guide with detailed lesson plans, 28 student reference books and reproducible worksheets. Tom Snyder Productions, Watertown, MA, (617) 926-6000. WM
