SW Enables Teacher-Led Web Based Training

LearnLinc I-Net is a new software product that lets instructors control online course material on all student PCs in real time over the Internet or on intranets.

Courseware can originate from previously authored material, from packages like Authorware and ToolBook or from simple PowerPoint and similar presentations. Or it can originate from any Web site, as LearnLinc I-Net is the first product to provide synchronized Web navigation.

Creating a true virtual classroom experience, once students have logged in, teachers control the delivery, interaction and navigation of the multimedia course material. A Question & Answer section lets teachers ask multiple-choice questions.

Students raise their ìelectronic handsî to be given control. One can launch a shared whiteboard or review material using the Library Browser. Text Chat lets instructors communicate with the class.

LearnLinc I-Net requires software for both server and clients, and can be teamed with teleconferencing; desktop or room videoconferencing; and satellite, CATV or broadcast TV for advanced distance learning applications.
