Networking - Waters Network Systems

Waters Network Systems' Fast Ethernet Classroom Hubs are designed to meet the demanding needs of educational installations. The enclosed security housing limits tampering of the cable connections and protects from harsh environments. External LED indicators for power and individual port status allow the hubs to be visually managed for simple troubleshooting. These hubs are available for UTP (100Base-TX) or fiber (100Base-FX) networks.

The unit operates with all existing network operating systems and protocol stacks for compatibility with any existing Fast Ethernet network system. Its one-piece design is lightweight, making it easy to mount on a wall. The hubs are forward and backward compatible with repeaters, concentrators and transceivers and are also ready to connect video and voice through CATV and RJ-45 connectors. A single daisy chain is provided for future expansion. Waters Network Systems, Plymouth, MN, (800) 441-5319, www.watersnet.com.
