Redesigned Cabling Components Go Above and Beyond

Leviton Telcom has unveiled changes to its eXtreme Category 6 Cabling Components.With a newly designed connector body and broader selection of patch cordchoices, eXtreme has been internally tested to 350Mhz. With the addition ofQuickPort patch panels and blocks, the system exceeds proposed TIA/EIA Category6 specifications for channel, link and component, delivering more than 8dB ofheadroom over proposed 200Mhz Category 6 specifications.

 

Redesigned eXtreme QuickPort snap-in connectors featurefaster, clearer transmission that exceeds proposed TIA/EIA Category 6 standardsfor channel, link and component-rated specifications. It also has a redesignedbody with a rear termination field that allows easy termination from within awallplate or field-configurable panel. For color-coding and organization, theyare available in 13 colors and will fit into any Leviton QuickPort plate, boxor panel. The redesigned eXtreme patch cords provide high-end performance andalso surpass standards for channel, link and component-rated specifications.
