Teachers Create Free Class Web Pages

Recently launched by Falcon Software, Inc., MyClass.net is a free online servicedesigned for teachers to create their own personalized classroom Web sites.Teachers with little technical experience can easily integrate Internetresources into their classes while enhancing communication with students,parents and other teachers. There is no software to install in order to set upa page, and each class site is hosted on a secure server.

MyClass.net allows teachers to include class discussionboards, file sharing of class documents and media files, lists of favorite Websites, and recommended online resources on their Web pages. The MyClass.netteacher tools allow teachers to establish community discussion boards forsharing ideas with other schools, to view log reports that analyze daily siteusage, to create homework drop boxes for students to submit assignments online,to post class assignments and announcements, and to edit their sites.MyClass.net offers password-protected sites, and is free of setup fees,subscription fees, or expenses.
