Customize Broadband Connectivity for Individual Rooms

ADC has introduced REZ, a unique connectivity platform that provides a central point for termination and distribution of networking services. Used in conjunction with twisted pair, coax and fiber cables, the REZ Media Manager offers the flexibility to personalize broadband services for each room. Telelphony, Internet, cable TV, audio, security and other services can be made available to any part of the school or institution from one conveniently located control panel.

The intuitive Media Manager also features separate access doors for technicians and users. For installers, this ensures that service terminations are safe and secure from inquisitive users. For users, the separate access door means that moving a phone line, removing a service or adding more bandwidth for a room is as easy as moving a patch cord.

The REZ Media Manager comes in two sizes – 8 or 16 module – each with patent-pending, integrated cable management features. The easy-to-install system supports Category 5, Category 5e and Category 3, as well as proposed Category 6. Separate modules enable 10Base-T Ethernet, fiber and coax. In addition, the Power Manager provides enclosed space for power and surge protection. The REZ Media Managers and Power Managers can be stacked for easy modular growth.
