Schools Receive Discounted Digital Assessment Programs

In an effort to make it easy and economical for K-12 schools to help their students and educators prepare for tests, Test.com, Inc. will make its Internet test engine and authoring programs, Create A Test and Create A Survey, available for the discounted maintenance fee of $1,000 per academic year. Schools may purchase the programs for a limited time, effective through Sept. 15. Test.com's programs normally cost $3,000 a year.

The test engine and authoring programs are available to any K-12 school in the U.S. via a seamless Intranet through Test.com's Private Accounts Program. Any school administrator who wants to conduct secure online testing and practice testing can visit www.test.com to set up a free demonstration of the service. The school controls access to its private test center and the content that is administered there. Teachers can enter their own tests, quizzes, assessments and surveys at no cost via the Create A Test and Create A Survey programs. Audio files and graphic images are easy to add to any test or survey header and question. In addition, students can purchase content as needed from the Test.com database, including practice tests for the SAT and ACT, as well as hundreds of math, English, science, physics and history tests.
