Bretford's EC7000-GM Mobile Computer Workstation

The EC7000-GM Mobile Computer Workstation from Bretford Manufacturing comes with a CPU holder that mounts on the left or right side and adjusts in width from 6.5" to 11". The work surface provides 6 square feet of workspace and adjusts from 23" to 27" in height. It also comes with one 36"W x 24"D, 18-gauge steel shelf. The corners of the shelf open so the sides don't connect. A spacious cord-management bin measuring 4.5"D x 10"H x 34"W organizes all power and data wires. The all-steel constructed workstation measures 36"W x 24"D x 27"H and weighs 61.5 lbs. The 4" Quiet-Glide casters - two of which lock - make it easy to move the cart around without disturbing nearby students. The workstation is available in a neutral gray mist powder paint, appropriate for any classroom.

Bretford Manufacturing also carries Notebook Storage Carts, which hold and charge up to 15, 18, 24 or 30 notebook computers, depending on the model. Each cart includes two UL-listed electrical outlet units to charge notebooks and power additional equipment. The electrical units can be placed inside the front or back of the unit if additional safety is required. An optional automatic timer can be added to the LAP18, LAP24 and the LAP30 models, allowing both electrical units to be plugged into the timer. Heavy-duty casters allow the carts to be moved between rooms and shared among students, or used as a central storage location for computers. The carts feature a durable, solid steel construction with locking doors, ensuring security. Two grommet holes in the back of the unit enable electrical units to be plugged into a wall for easy charging of notebooks. Ventilation holes throughout the cabinet cool the equipment while charging. In addition, the top shelf can be used as a space for a notebook and printer. Bretford Manufacturing Inc., Franklin Park, IL, (800) 521-9614, www.bretford.com.
