Assessment Tools... eMeasurement Services

NCS Pearson's eMeasurement Services is a suite of tools that electronically delivers tests and their results. All functions offered within the suite are secure and accessible via the Internet with a standard browser. The system is designed to meet the needs of high-stakes, large-scale assessments. Access is controlled through user IDs and passwords. All transmissions are encrypted and no items are left on the local workstation when testing concludes. Items or tests cannot be copied, e-mailed or printed.

The components of eMeasurement Services include: Delivery, Reporting and Authoring. Delivery consists of tools that present test items to students and provide for administrative control of the test sessions. The Reporting component scores and stores response data for producing a variety of reports. Authoring allows the creation of items and tests online, the storage of those items for future use, and the ability to track performance statistics.
