Dell Aids Schools With Modular Classrooms, New Software

Dell has unveiled a modular classroom, fully equipped with computer systems and peripherals to accommodate growing student populations. The modular classrooms, developed with Williams Scotsman, Inc. are called Cyberspaces and can be customized to the needs of a school or district with a wireless or wired network, desktop or notebook computers, a network server, as well as a variety of peripherals.

Dell is also offering a variety of new software products for K-12 customers, which are grouped by grade level and come in two categories. Curriculum software covers math, science, reading and social studies. Productivity software includes tools for creating graphics and multimedia projects, encyclopedias for research, and other tools.
