TI Keyboard

Texas Instruments has announced the availability of its TI Keyboard ($39.99), extending the use of millions of TI handhelds already employed by students worldwide. The keyboard is currently compatible with the TI-83 Plus and TI-83 Plus Silver Edition, and will soon be compatible with the TI-89, TI-92 Plus and the Voyage 200. The full-size QWERTY keyboard lets students type class notes, enter data into spreadsheets and save documents directly into their TI handheld device. The keyboard uses the NoteFolio Handheld Software Application, which is similar to traditional word-processing programs that allow users to copy, cut and paste text, as well as save notes under various file names. Files are then easily converted from the handheld into Microsoft Word documents on a PC using a TI-GRAPH LINK cable and TI Connect software. The TI Keyboard includes a cradle to hold the device at an easy-to-see angle and can be stacked with other keyboards. Texas Instruments, (800) 336-5236, http://education.ti.com.
