Holt Middle School Math has been augmented by Holt Online Assessment, which aligns to certain state and national standards so that teachers can diagnose a student's mastery of skills, assign intervention and track improvement. So far, state-specific assessments are available for Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, Oklahoma and Indiana. In the science department, Holt Biology Online Edition has been updated with "Live Ink" technology, which helps students better understand and retain the information they read. Students can select difficult parts of the text to be displayed in Live Ink, which breaks the text down into easy-to-understand segments based on grammatical principles.
