The imageRUNNER 2270 from Canon USA (www.canonusa.com) offers a number of energy-efficient and timesaving features to reduce costs and meet deadlines. It also features the company’s MEAP (multifunctional embedded application platform) technology for more effective management of paper and electronic-based information. At the heart of this MFP’s system is a high-quality, digital laser copier/printer engine that delivers output speeds of up to 28 ppm. The 2270 also has extensive memory capabilities, with 512 MB of RAM and a 20 GB hard disk drive, and offers an output resolution of 2,400 x 600 dpi. In addition, Canon provides many options for the 2270, including larger paper sources, Direct Print (printing without having to open a file), and Web page printing directly from the device control panel for users without access to a computer.
