CELT AnnouncesCELTFall Ed Tech SummitEducation, government, andtechnology leaders nationwidewill convene in Cape Cod,MA, Oct. 5-8, for the 2005National Education Summit onLeadership, Learning, andTechnology. This year’s invitation-only event will bringtogether state government andschool district teams to set anational agenda on such issues as:

  • Alignment of 21st centuryleadership, learning,andtechnology programs.
  • Design and implementationof educational accountabilityand reporting systems at thefederal,state,and local levels.
  • Impact of technology onworkforce, community,andeconomic development.
  • Convergence of educationreforms and federal/statefunding programs withNCLB regulations.

According to John R.Phillipo, CEO for CELT Corp.,the host organization for thisyear’s event, “Government, community,and education leadersmust enable learners of all ages toreach their highest achievementand employment potential.”As aresult of enormous dailydemands, says Phillipo, there isoften very little time for teamlearning and exploration.
