DEER VALLEY TO PROVIDE UNIVERSAL VOIP SUPPORT

Deer Valley Unified School District in Phoenix has implemented Nortel’s CS1000 with Tenor VoIP switches from Quintum Technologies. The new system allows the 400-squaremile district to provide IP phone support for all of its 37 schools.

In addition, the system supports phones, fax machines, security-alarm devices, and other modem-based appliances.

PARTNERSHIP BRINGS DIGITAL MEDIA TOOLS TO NEBRASKA DISTRICTS

Students and teachers in Nebraska’s 1,300 statewide public, private, and charter schools will have open access to the rich media and curriculum integration tools of PowerMediaPlus.com, thanks to a partnership between educational multimedia provider Clearvue& SVE and theCooperative Organization of NebraskaEducational Service Units (CONESU).The partnership links the state’s 325,000students and 25,000 teachers across 300school districts to videos, audio files,images, and print resources.
