Alerts.com Announces Free Messaging and Emergency Notification System for Schools

##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

During the company's presentation at DEMOfall 08, Alerts.com announced the launch of its free school alert notification and messaging system, MySchoolAlerts.

The new platform is intended to increase communication between parents, students, teachers, and other staff members by providing schools an efficient way to share news, event reminders, and emergency notices in real-time. Messages can be received in a variety of formats, including e-mail, text, voice, and desktop widgets, all based on user preferences.

According to the company, the new platform will also act as one of the foundational offerings for Safety 1st, a program launching in the fall that partners Alerts.com with i-Safe and American Income Life Insurance. The program's focus is to promote safety for kids through "education, protection, and notification."
