ASI Offers Pre-Packaged Digital Signage System

ASI has introduced the Helix, a digital signage solution designed to provide all components in a pre-packaged system. The company said Helix streamlines the complexities normally associated with digital signage.

The industrial-grade solution includes digital displays, hardware, software, and enclosures, along with information boards, wayfinder boards, interactive (touch-screen) directories and displays, and room schedulers, designed to work together to provide continuity of information as well as a consistent design element throughout the facility.

The content for Helix is controlled by a Web-based administration system. Clients can access the system via the Internet through a single login to make updates to content and manage the entire system remotely and easily.

Helix can be used in lobbies and floor landings. The room schedulers may be used as area identification signs outside of conference and training areas and other departments.

Standard turnkey Helix solutions include:

  • Standardized hardware and software;
  • Standardized content templates with six color options;
  • Standardized signature enclosures;
  • Scrolling text that displays welcome messages, news, and emergency bulletins;
  • Standardized service support packages; and
  • Dynamic content that can be scheduled to provide updates at any time of the day.

Helix includes four standard sign types: info boards with dynamic content, touch-screen interactive directories and displays, wayfinder boards with dynamic content, and room schedulers.
