Lexia Reading 7.1 Adds New Skills Reports and Real-Time Performance Views
Lexia has released Lexia Reading 7.1, an update to the company's reading instruction and assessment software. This newest version features improved progress monitoring and new skills reports.
Lexia Reading provides exercises for pre-k to 12th grade students and includes ongoing performance assessments for individual students, classes, schools, or districts.
Version 7.1, which became available this week, gives teachers and administrators "real-time views of student performance by leveraging an unparalleled national database of student skills development," according to information released by the company.
The new version also includes:
- At-a-glance classroom performance view;
- Real-time data on which skills students are struggling with;
- More than 900 age appropriate activities; and
- individually differentiated content.
Lexia reading is available with through a concurrent licensing program that allows students to access the program from home or school.
Lexia Reading 7.1 is available for Mac OS X 10.4 or higher and Windows XP (SP3), Vista, and Windows 7. It requires 256 MB RAM, 500 MB hard disk space, 32 MB accelerated video graphics card or better, and a headset or speakers.
