Qtopia Plus Adds Curriculum Customization, New Activities

Qtopia has introduced a premium version of its game-based e-learning software.

Qtopia Plus, which was released at ISTE 2011, builds on the original learning platform that provides free online access to thousands of educational  activities. The software also includes 24/7 online homework access with automatic grading, in-classroom review modes, and the ability for teachers to customize learning programs.

The premium version adds:

  • The ability for teachers to access real-time district-wide reporting;
  • Curriculum that matches up with state requirements using Qwizdom ReadySet software;
  • More games and avatars; and
  • Additional lessons and answer explanations.

Pricing for a 12-month subscription is as follows:

  • Individual teacher: $199 per classroom (36 students);
  • Individual teacher with multiple classes: $699 and up; and
  • Site (K-8)/50 teachers: $3,999 unlimited students.
