Staff Training System Features Automated Reminders

In an effort to help meet its six mandatory compliance training days each year, the Rockwood School District in Eureka, MO is implementing an online training module offered by PublicSchoolWORKS.

The staff training system automatically informs staff which training courses they need to take and by when via e-mail. If a staff member does not complete their required training after several auto-emailed reminders, a notification is sent to an administrator.

"We were trying to track 4,000 training logs, which was difficult and labor intensive," said Katie Reboulet, director of human resources at the Rockwood School District in a statement. "This was all done by paper, meaning that at the beginning of every year, the Human Resources Department had 4,000 pieces of paper to keep track of. Then we were tasked with pursuing those employees who did not complete the training. Now it is all automated."
