Florida Catholic Schools Adopts Tuition Management Tools

Catholic schools in Florida will be using a new application for billing and collection of tuition. Florida Province of Catholic Schools has signed a three-year agreement to use FACTS Management's tuition management service.

The program will provide 37 Florida Catholic schools in nine counties with a dashboard that lays out real-time financial information and tuition and fee billing positions for all families on the system. School users can generate reports listing cash remitted, delinquencies, incidental billing amounts, cash projected and payment plan status for families.

Families will be able to get into the service to manage payments and payment methods, check the status of their account, pay tuition and fees online and update demographic information.

Among the features provided by FACTS are:

  • One-click Spanish translation;
  • Management of multiple students under one account; and
  • Automated month end journal entries to general ledgers.

Henry Fortier, superintendent of schools for the Diocese of Orlando, said the company has been a "great partner" to work with. "The system-wide transition was seamless with excellent customer service. I would describe our years-long partnership with the following three characteristics: integrity, customer service and quality."

FACTS said that its services are in use at 6,600 private and faith-based K-12 schools around the country.
