DynaVox Introduces 15-Inch Speech-Generating Tablet

DynaVox T15DynaVox Systems has introduced the DynaVox T15, a 15-inch dynamic display tablet for students with advanced access needs, visual impairments or physical limitations. The speech-generating T15 combines its 15-inch display with high-contrast PCS symbols to enhance clarity and target size for students with visual limitations. The tablet features integrated switch ports, a capacitive touch screen and a full-sized USB port. It can support multiple access methods, allowing users to communicate through touch, scanning and head mouse input.

DynaVox Compass, the communication software that ships with the T15, has also been updated to include two new pagesets. The All Access pageset includes vocabulary that can be adapted to any individual’s communication ability and provides a wizard to help users select an access method. The Navigator pageset is designed to support the needs of literate individuals who primarily want to use a keyboard to communicate.

DynaVox Compass connects with a free myDynaVox account, which allows students to share content with family members or members of their support team. Accounts also provide backup and restore functions.
