Pearson, KnowledgeWorks Partner on Free Accountability Webinar

Pearson is launching a free webinar for educators focused on accountability in education.

"Accountability and Assessments To Support Student-Centered Teaching and Learning" will be moderated by Susan Patrick, president and CEO at the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL), and will feature an online panel exploring "accountability for the future and how authentic systems of assessments can tie accountability to student-centered teaching and learning while ensuring essential educational equity," according to a news release. "In addition to iNACOL, the webinar features panelists from KnowledgeWorks, a non-profit social enterprise that works to foster meaningful personalized learning that enables every student to thrive in college, career and civic life."

Panelists will include KnowledgeWorks Chief Learning Officer Virgel Hammonds, KnowledgeWorks Senior Director of National Policy Lillian Pace, iNACOL Vice President for Federal and State Policy Maria Worthern, Creston Middle School Language Arts Teacher Mary Graham and Hilliard City School District Superintendent John Marschhausen.
